If you are looking to reduce the environmental footprint of your next event, Karma Cups maybe what you are looking for. Established in 2007 by Vicky Urmston the company specialise in sourcing and providing a range of natural disposable tableware that simply breaks down to compost in a matter of  weeks. Karma cups isn't just about helping people to reduce the waste that they create but to also help create a more sustainable way of life. We help to do this by:- Having a social venture bank account with Triodos bank. Electricity provided through a 100% renewable company (Good Energy). Energy efficient computer systems and light bulbs, all electrical items are switched off when not in use. The majority of our correspondence is via email, but any office paper used is made from 100% recycled or sustainable resources. We are registered with Mail Preference Service to reduce junk mail received. We re-use packaging whenever possible, hence the odd boxes in which you may have received you purchases. Our business travel is kept to a minimum. Karma cups is a member of Bolton alternative fuels co-op. We support local community food and environment projects. The profits from Karma cups will be used for sustainable environmental projects. Please show your responsibility to the environment by supporting other environmental and social causes. We will endeavour to bring you all the latest, least travelled and most sustainable compostable tableware. Remember it is always better to re-use tableware but when this isn't possible then use something that you can compost.
